Susan K. Bishop, MBA, PhD
Susan has recently been Clinical Assistant Professor of Management at the Lubin School of Business at Pace University, teaching in the Arts and Entertainment Management Program, and helping to educate the next generation of Media professionals.
Additionally, for over 30 years, Susan K. Bishop has specialized in the entertainment, media, and communications executive search business recruiting hundreds of senior-level executives for key positions with top companies in the fields of cable/broadband, broadcasting, film, digital/internet, in every functional area including all C Level executives as well as countless heads of Content, Programming, Production, Marketing, and Sales.
Before entering the executive search business, Susan spent ten years in the broadcast and cable television industry, where she held a variety of positions including general management, production, programming, and marketing, and also managed the start-up of a successful pay-television company.
Susan earned her Bachelor of Arts at Briarcliff College, her Master's in Business Administration at Fordham University, and her Ph.D. in Management and Organizational Leadership at Walden University. Additionally, she completed the Harvard Business School Owner/President Management Program (OPM).
Nationally recognized for her outstanding contributions to the cable television and digital industries, Dr. Bishop has been a member of Women in Cable & Telecommunications (WICT), Women in Digital Media, and BAFTA. Additionally, she has served on the Board of Directors of the Association of Executive Search Consultants (AESC), The New York Women's Agenda, and Future Leader's Institute (a K-8 Charter School in Harlem).
